Race 1: Adrian Campfield started the race from P26. On the opening lap, he made slight contact with Andrej Borotovsky and spun. He rejoined the race in 30th and last position. By the tenth lap, he fought his way back to P20 already. On Lap 16, he went wide in Turn 4, the fast right-hander in the second sector of the lap. Adrian lost control of his car and made heavy contact with the crash barriers on the inside of the corner, which is why he had to head to the pits for repairs. Ultimately, he finished the race in 22nd position.
Chris Shepherd started the race from P3. Heading towards the first turn, he passed Luke Browning and then, one corner later, he overtook Matthew Williams for the lead. In the following laps, Chris had to defend the lead the Cenobite Motorsports driver. After unsuccessful attacks on Lap 8 and 10, Williams overtook Chris on Lap 11, which is why Chris finished the race in P2.
Race 2: Adrian started the second race from P22, meaning that he had to make up quite a few places to finish in a points scoring position. He didn’t waste any time and started to pass people on the first lap. As a result, he was in P15, the first point scoring position, by Lap 7. He continued to overtake opponents until he made a small mistake on Lap 17, which cost him 3 places. Nevertheless, he finished the race in P13, scoring two points after not scoring in the previous seven races.
Chris started the second race of the day from 14th position. He made a very good start and after the first corner, he was in P7 already. After an intense battle for position, he passed Dawid Krupa on Lap 3. Five laps later, Sandeep Chodha spun in T4, netting Chris another place. After overtaking Ross Woodford, Chris then chased David Jundt. Both drivers overtook Ivan Leonov on Lap 15. One lap later, Chris passed the Red Arrow Racing driver and started to close the gap to the leader Matthew Beavis, who struggled with worn tyres. Chris passed the TR Bluvos Motorsport driver on the Start-Finish-Straight and won the race one lap later.
